Every program at Austin STEM Center is designed around one simple belief: people learn best by doing.
Whether they’re building a robot, designing a prototype, programming electronics, or tackling an engineering challenge, participants gain more than technical skills. They build confidence, strengthen problem-solving abilities, spark curiosity, and discover what’s possible when they’re given the opportunity to create.
Our programs don’t just teach STEM. They prepare people to think critically, collaborate, and solve the challenges of tomorrow.
Labs
Focused, three-hour Sunday labs in our shops and makerspaces, from 3D design to physical computing.
STEM Clubs
Hands-on STEM clubs, meeting after school and during the day for homeschoolers.
Field Trips
Hands-on STEM experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world tools, careers, and problem-solving.
Summer Camps
Hands-on camps where creativity, STEM, fun, and real-world skills come together.
Howdy Bots
Our FIRST Robotics Competition team, providing students ages 13–18 with hands-on engineering and business experience.
