Labs

Focused, three-hour Sunday labs in our shops and makerspaces, from 3D design to physical computing.

About this program

Labs at the Austin STEM Center are hands-on, skill-focused sessions that dig into one tool, technique, or topic at a time. Learners work with real equipment in our shops and makerspaces and leave with new skills and the know-how to keep building.

Labs meet on Sunday afternoons and are kept small, with up to 10 students in each, so everyone gets plenty of hands-on time.
